"Love isn't always there exactly when you want it. Sometimes it comes in very unexpected ways. But patience and faith are key."
The two dated for four years until her mother instructed her to break up with Bill. According to her, he didn't come from a well-to-do family. Her mother had someone else she wanted Layson to meet on the West Coast, and since the family was moving anyway, she broke up with Bill. The two kept in touch for a while but then they each tied the knot and lost touch.
Layson eventually got divorced and, as fate would have it, Bill tracked her down around the same time. She was elated; the two forged a phone friendship and eventually met up for secret trysts. He kept promising her that he was going to leave his wife.
"He's been saying that we're going to be together for the last year. Please tell me when he is going to leave his wife," Layson asked Suzie.
Suzie laid out her Tarot cards, but according to her intuition and the spread, she felt that these two were never going to get together.
"I saw no movement. He was leading her on and I had to be honest. It was a losing battle. This guy wasn't going anywhere."
Not surprisingly, Layson didn't accept her answer.
"Is there any chance?"
"Of course, there's free will -- but right now it's a firm no," Suzie replied.
Suzie could also tell that Layson was very scared of ending up alone in life. She needed to build up her self-esteem and let go of the reins a little.
Suzie advised Layson that she had great power to attract what she wanted. In fact, she saw her meeting someone completely different at a social event -- a doctor of some sort. But more importantly, Layson needed to be patient and know that it was better to be alone that to be with someone who couldn't give her what she wanted. She needed self-esteem and faith that love often comes without warning.
Seven months later, Layson re-contacted Suzie. Within two months of the reading she and Bill had broken up.
"I didn't know at first why it felt so good to do this, but then I realized it was because I was standing up for myself."
Since their last call, she has made an effort to stay in her center and feel her feelings instead of everyone else's.
Meanwhile, she met a kind and emotionally available surgeon at a friend's barbecue and they were now dating.
Now i believe that:
"Love does work in mysterious ways. We must never forget this."
